Pacific Bag, inc got its start over 30 years ago selling stock bags. Our objective is to make packaging and packaging decisions easier for our clients and prospects. Our clients include over 4,500 customers in more than 50+ countries with a focus on coffee, tea, petfood, specialty foods, ag/chemicals and other niche markets.


PBi is proud that over 90% of our management team started at either lower level or entry level positions. We tend to hire from within and cultivate a culture that combines outstanding service, technical experience, with a basic enjoyment in what we do.

Meet the Executives

Mark Howley


Mark V. Howley, CEO, has over thirty years experience with barrier packages and modified atmosphere packaging machinery, including premade bags, rollstock, one-way valves, manual packaging equipment, and vertical/horizontal form fill and seal. Mark moved from suburban Philadelphia to Seattle over ten years ago as a part of the management team, and spearheaded the management buy out of PBi. Mark spent his early career with Fres-co System USA (PA) and Mahaffy & Harder (NJ), and has personally visited 100+ packaging companies globally. Mark has been published in a range of industry and technical publications, and frequently speaks at trade conventions. Mark and his family live in Suburban Seattle.

Glenn Sacco


Glenn Sacco, President, Glenn is responsible for all aspects at PBi that contribute to bottom line performance on a day to day basis and operates out of the North Wales, PA office. He has experience in a wide range of industries and has spent over 20 years in the flexible packaging industry, working with barrier packages and modified atmosphere packaging machinery, including premade bags, rollstock laminates, one-way valves, manual packaging equipment, and vertical and horizontal form fill and seal. By actively participating in trade associations and contributing to industry publications, Glenn approaches packaging by immersing himself in the markets he serves. He lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters.

Cassady Laton

Chief Operating Officer

Cassady Laton, Chief Operating Officer, Cassady has responsibility for purchasing, accounting, inventory control, vendor management and custom printing project management. Cassady works out of the Woodinville, WA, headquarters and offers over ten years experience as a manager at PBi. In addition to his responsibilities in Operations, he frequently visits domestic and international vendors.

Cassady and his group are active members of the Gravure Association of America. He and his family live in Seattle, WA.

Bill Walters

Vice President of Technical

Bill Walters, Vice President of Technical, has over thirty years of experience in flexible packaging, including work with Fres-co, Allied/Honeywell and Avery Dennison. Bill’s hands on experience with one-way valves, custom printed multi-ply laminates and troubleshooting complements PBi’s sales/service and QC/product development capabilities. Bill is intimately involved with Quality Control and Product Development of PBi one-way valve product line, and our vendors.  He frequently visits our domestic and international vendors to review QC/Product Development. Bill is an active member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals and operates out of the North Wales, PA offices. He and his family live outside Philadelphia.

Robert Hepburn

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Robert Hepburn, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, oversees all aspects domestic and global sales, including growth management, training, and development for PBi.   Robert has been with Pacific Bag for over 15 years and has an extensive background on our products, customers, and industries we market and sell to.   He has written and contributed to several packaging industry articles, white papers, and blogs. Robert works out of our Woodinville, WA address and travels both domestically and internationally visiting customers, attending tradeshows and managing outside sales reps.   Robert and his family live in Suburban Seattle.
